Asbestos, Lead, Interior Demolition to Preserve 1940s Architecture
Louisiana State University wanted to keep the original shell of the East Laville Honors College building to preserve the architecture while adding updated design features the building that was constructed in the 1940s. ARC was hired for asbestos abatement, lead paint removal and interior demolition to ready the structure for renovation. ARC Abatement completed the work in 120 days and came in under budget as promised.
Asbestos Abatement On-Time and On-Budget for First Baptist Dallas
ARC Abatement's Steve Chappell, VP and General Manager, oversaw the safe removal of asbestos from buildings owned by First Baptist Church Dallas in preparation for the implosion of several buildings within the churchs super block in the downtown area. Steve completed the work on-time and on-budget and turned the site over to the demolition team as promised on October 13, 2010.
Mold Remediation after a Fire
When Braun & Butler Construction was hired to restore the historic Texas Governors Mansion following a 2008 fire, ARC Abatement was called to remediate mold that had grown within the structure. The Mansions basement was filled with the water used to extinguish the fire, and mold was floor to ceiling and encroaching the first floor. ARC worked for six months removing the mold and then cleaned, disinfected and preserved each wall and piece of trim.
