Located on the historic Bayou Teche, is a complex consisting of eleven Bayou Cabins and an adjoining caf, ‘Bayou Boudin & Cracklin’. This authentic Cajun setting offers you the quaint and relaxing atmosphere as can only be experienced on the old Louisiana Bayou.
During your visit, you are invited to sample and savor the most unique and delicious of homemade Cajun food specialties, complemented by the genuine southern hospitality of the proprietors and your hosts, Rocky and Lisa Sonnier.
Breaux Bridge’s first bed and breakfast establishment will surely capture your heart once you view it's beautiful antique furnishings and country charm. Awaiting your arrival is a Cajun ‘lagniappe’ sampling of ‘boudin’, ‘cracklin’, the delicious Cajun delicacy ‘hogshead cheese’, and an ice cold glass of the finest homemade rootbeer you’ll ever taste. The pralines, made with freshly shelled, roasted, local pecans are most likely to be the best you'll find anywhere. All of these Cajun treats are homemade on the premises.
Following a restful night’s sleep you’re invited to enjoy, in the privacy of your own back porch, the all-time southern favorite coffee roasted to perfection by 'Community Coffee'.
The caf offers a menu that includes such choices as homemade beignets, eggs and southern smoked ham, eggs and smoked sausage, or a specially prepared Cajun breakfast platter!
