Granite is durable
The Building Stone Institute says granite is a worry-free surface that requires few special precautions. Most granite is impervious to scratches, staining and heat blistering and cracking. Hot pots and pans won't damage it. Warm water and a soft cloth can be used to clean up spills.

We us a 15 year sealer to preserve the original luster. So Re-sealing is not an issue.

You are sold on Granite, so now, what are the steps in making your dream a reality?

Call us at 318-484-9895 or email jerry@oldsouthgranite.com and tell us your plans, either new construction or remodeling. We will get some basic information from you so that your visit to our showroom will be productive.

At our first meeting, please bring a sketch or drawing of your project, including dimensions. We will help you select the appropriate material and edge detail for your granite countertops. We will be able to give you a cost estimate at this point. If you are unable to bring the project dimensions, we will be happy to do the measurements for you.

Our skilled craftsmen will come to your location and measure and create a template for your new countertop. We have the latest technology in Laser Templating which draws an exact replica of your countertop.

We have a waterjet for computerized cutting . Our fabrication staff completes the polishing and sink preparation for installation

We will schedule installation in advance to allow sufficient time for all other renovation or installations to be completed. Our installation crew normally finishes in one day with very little cleanup required.
