Elizabeth 0. Rome is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Beth was born in Topeka Kansas on December 15, 1958 as her father was stationed there with the Army. The family moved back to New Orleans when Beth was a small child.
She attended grammar school and high school in New Orleans and graduated from LSU in Baton Rouge in 1979. She attended her first year of law school at Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans and her second year at Emory School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia.
