most eye diseases A comprehensive medical eye exam is the only way to ensure problems are identified as early as possible, particularly since many eye diseases do not cause symptoms until the disease has caused damage. We recommend regular checkups, which should increase in frequency as the patient ages.

At a very young age they were totally dependent upon their glasses or contact lenses in order to complete simple daily activities.
