FOR MISSION TRIP TO MEXICO Broadmoor Presbyterian Church has
enjoyed a long and vital relationship with the Mexican Indian Training Center
of Cordoba, Veracruz, Mexico. The president of the school is Rev. Dan Hall, nephew
of church member Pet Harvey, and the school has been generously supported by the
Holt-Allen Class. A new trip is set for Sunday, November 20, to Sunday, November
27, 2011, under the leadership of Dr. Bill Hall, Nell Phillips, and Pat Robertson.
(Rev. Hawley and Rev. Jan will also be going.) A church-wide Mission Lunch will be
held Sunday, December 5, after worship at 12:00 p.m. in the Activities Building. If
you would like more information about the trip, this will be an excellent time to ask
questions. Funds are needed to provide medicines and building supplies for the work
projects that the trip participants will be doing at the mission.

Mexican Indian Training Center (MITC) in Cordoba, Mexico, for the week of
Thanksgiving 2011 (the trip dates are Saturday, November 19-Sunday, November
27, 2011). Dan and Chuy Hall will be our hosts. The trip will include dental and
medical missions in the mountains, (led by Dr. Bill Hall and Cynthia Hall), sewing
and construction/painting projects around the school, worshiping in native Indian
churches, and the obligatory “huge Thanksgiving feast with theatrical
entertainments.” A mission trip to Cordoba is a wonderful way to live out our Core
Values: “With our voices, we witness” and “With our hands, we serve.” We are
always blessed on these trips, far more than we can bless others! (Note: all trip
participants must have a passport before the trip leaves.)
