Helen's Cleaning Services - Reviews

Taken to the cleaners... I hired Helen's Cleaning Service to clean two bathrooms and a kitchen in a 1500 sq ft home when tenants moved out. They were dirty, but not egregious. They came out same day, which I appreciated and did a good job cleaning. *But* they took 8.5 hours and charged me over $800 for the job. I was not present. I received no contact from the company indicating the work was worse or would take/cost more than expected. Just a huge charge on my credit card--they required I provide my card number for a deposit. I complained about the unreasonably high charge and was told that for a 1-time cleaning job, they wouldn't give me a cost reduction. I am not saying don't use these guys, but don't give them your card in advance and negotiate a maximum time/cost before you let them start. Very unhappy I didn't do so.
