The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Department of Neurosurgery in conjunction with Northwestern State University Nursing is hosting the Neuro Update 2010, a one-day continuing education course on Saturday, October 2nd, from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center, located on 400 Caddo Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dr. Anil Nanda, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport, served as the honored William S. Keith Visiting Professor for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Lecture at Toronto Western Hospital in Toronto, Canada on May 31 June 1, 2010.

Dr. Anil Nanda, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurosurgery at LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport, was elected President of the Society of University Neurosurgeons at the SUN Annual Meeting in Miami, Florida on March 24, 2010.
