The Knight's Athletic Club was founded in 1977. Originally established as an athletic club, the organization quickly began having many social activities in addition to the sponsored sports teams. The club also had activities that benefited local charities. First operating out of the Blessed Mother Council of the Knight's of Columbus (Knight's A.C. is not associated with the K of C), the club moved to the basement of Jim and Joe's Beer Depot on Winkler Ave. The club remained there for about two years before their final move. Currently located at 1527 Berry Boulevard, the Knight's have been an active member of the South Louisville community throughout their existence
