Delta Rigging & Tools, Inc. is comprised of a group of companies which have merged together as of January, 2008. Each former company was an established leader in the industrial marketplace for their specific products and services. The list below provides the former company names and a brief biography for each.
Industrial Hoist Services (IHS) - IHS started in 1983 offering sales, service and rentals of hoisting, winching and rigging products to industrial markets and has become the nationwide leader in the rental of air chain hoists, offering hoists up to 100 ton capacities, long lift options, low headroom units and associated equipment for short- or long- term basis. IHS also sells standard packaged hoist products and parts, but can also offer engineered specialty hoists, overhead cranes and material handling elevators for permanent plant installation. To accompany these products, Industrial Hoist Services has a service division which can perform repairs, load testing and certifications both on-site and at our facilities.
B&H Air Tools (B&H) - B&H was founded in 1972 and provides sales, service and rentals to a very important market place consisting of refineries, petro chemical plants, power generation plants, shipyards, marine, pipe & structural fabrication, boiler & heat exchanger and construction. B&H represents multiple product lines that specialize in portable pneumatics, portable hydraulics, material handing & lifting, torque, heat exchanger & boiler tooling and hand tools. We also supply all consumable items associated with these product lines.
Delta Wire Rope (DWR) - DWR started in 1979 and has been a leading supplier of fabricated wire rope slings, chain slings, Del-Tuff nylon and polyester web slings. DWR provides quality rigging products, such as Crosby, to a wide variety of industries. Services offered to customers include the Testing (both breaking & capacity) and Certifications of wire rope, slings, chain and hoists; Inspections of slings (all types), fittings, hoists, lifting clamps, chain pullers and crane blocks; Repairs of slings, wire rope assemblies, hoists, winches and hydraulic tools; Pre-stressing of wire rope and wire rope assemblies; and Custom Fabrication or wire rope, wire rope accessories, nylon web assemblies and alloy chain slings.
American Sling (AS) - AS was formed in 1983 and is a manufacturer and distributor of industrial lifting devices and rigging hardware for the mining, manufacturing, construction and defense industries. AS specializes in providing services and products for users of mobile cranes, bridge cranes and excavation cranes. We are distributors of major manufacturers of products related to lifting and safety.
Port Rentals (PR) - PR started in 2003 and is a specialty rental supply company specifically catering to the Offshore Oil & Gas Exploration and Drilling industry, as well as its specialty contractors, including diving contractors. Dive equipment & pre-slung lifting equipment, compressors and welding machines are just some of the equipment we offer.
Coastal Wire Rope - Coastal Wire Rope began in 1987 as a rigging shop servicing the fishing, marine and oil industries out of Houma, LA. As our reputation for service grew, we quickly established ourselves as a leading provider of slings, testing and lifting gear in the offshore oil industry. Coastal Wire Rope carries a large inventory of wire rope, fittings, chain and lifting gear and can custom make slings with nylon, wire rope or chain to match the needs of our customers. Coastal Wire Rope has the capacity to make wire rope slings up to 3 ½” diameter and the testing capacity of 750,000 lbs. Coastal caters heavily to the diving industry offering portable spooling machines as well as a large inventory of anchor wires.
Kelly Wire Rope - Kelly Wire Rope, Inc. is a Texas corporation founded in 1984 and located in Pasadena, Odessa, and Fort Worth. Kelly Wire Rope, Inc. is a distributor of wire rope and wire rope products, chain, and web slings.
D & M Wire Rope - D & M Wire Rope, Inc has built its reputation on service, availability, and product knowledge. Since 1981 we have been servicing the central Rockies and the western slope with oil field, mining, skiing, and construction supplies. We also supply to the general public and government entities.
