Our eleven physicians are Board certified and Diplomates of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board eligible. We are practicing our specialty together to give you the best possible medical care 24 hours a day. Through extensive medical training and continuing medical education courses, the doctors and nurses are kept abreast of the modern advances in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Acadiana Women's Health Group specializes in women's health. Services include; obstetrics and gynecology, lab services, screening obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds including 3D/4D ultrasounds, laser skin care and hair removal, laser tattoo removal and osteoporosis screening.

What is OB-GYN?
Obstetrics is the specialty dealing with total management of obstetrical patients. It includes not only routine prenatal delivery care, but also medical and other problems associated with pregnancy.
Gynecology is the specialty dealing with diagnosis and treatment, medical and surgical, of female problems. This also includes such areas as cancer detection, endocrinology, infertility, sexuality, birth control, etc.
