The Louisiana Insurance Center handles personal, business insurance and employee benefits, offering 24-hour claims services for your convenience. We are licensed, bonded and certified and are members of Independent Insurance Agents and the Better Business Bureau. Founded in 1980, The Louisiana Insurance Center is owned and operated by Cynthia and Hugh Ross. The agency has provided a full range of insurance services for individuals and businesses throughout the state for over 25 years. The Louisiana Insurance Center is licensed in Louisiana for personal and commercial insurance. We are also licensed for commercial insurance in Mississippi.

Our agency represents multiple national insurance companies including SAFECO, and we write all forms of personal and commercial insurance. We specialize in all forms of commercial insurance including competitive specialty insurance packages for Head Start and/or Community Action Agencies and Day Care Centers and all types of social service facilities.

Our dedicated staff can answer questions or address concerns pertaining to your insurance needs. Cynthia Ross, who manages the agency, has over 25 years of experience in the insurance business. Her expertise includes vast knowledge of all the insurance the agency handles. Kathy Thibodeaux manages and specializes in the Head Starts and/or Community Action Agencies and Day Care Centers, while Rob Elzey and Laura Stewart head up the personal lines department. They can handle your automobile, homeowner, boat, motorcycle and recreational vehicle insurance.

The Benefits division is managed by Hugh Ross. This division handles all forms of individual and group health insurance, individual and group life insurance, disability and long-term care insurance.
