Founded in 1979 and centrally located in the heart of the U.S.'s most dynamic industrial and petrochemical manufacturing corridor, Southeastern Louisiana, American Pump & Machine Works, Inc. provides services in the premier canned motor pump and magnetic drive pump market. We are an authorized repair facility for some of the worlds largest canned motor and magnetic drive pump manufacturers, as well as servicing all major brands ; Hermetic, Dickow, Sundyne, Chempump, Nikkiso, Teikoku, SIHI, Carver, Viking, Lawrence and others.
Canned motor pump repair and magnetic drive pump repair are our specialty. Our Machine shop / Repair facility offers a complete 24-hour emergency service and maintain an extensive inventory of raw materials (i.e. can and shaft material, raw magnet stock, bearing grade carbon, Silicon Carbide, Tungsten Carbide, etc.) for quick repair turnaround time. We are a true "one stop" repair shop with extensive combined experience, 160 Years, in all phases of canned pump repair, including motor stator rewinding, shafting, magnet, can, and linear replacement. Included in these services is the availability of a on site pump testing loop.
