Family members of South are asked to bring a bag of groceries filled with items from a list provided. These bags are collected during the Sunday worship services and distributed to families in the community the following week. Monetary gifts are received to purchase a meat for each Harvest Bag.

Deepest Sympathy

Rolando Figueroa’s brother, Jeobany Figueroa, passed away this week unexpectedly. He was 39-years-old. To add to the sadness of this family, Jeobany’s 16-year-old son also recently passed away as the victim of a crime. Please pray for this family in their time of great ... more

Robbie and Denis Ruiz are missionaries in Venezuela. From Robbie: "There is such great joy in our hearts. We had a very special day Sunday. Gabriel was baptized and gave his life to God. Denis baptized him along with four other adolescents the same age as Gabriel." A very special day indeed.

We recently released our newly designed website. There are a lot of changes and everything from the previous site may not make it to the new one. The change was necessary to provide a better looking and easier to navigate site. It also makes changes easier. You can send feedback right here.

Karen White had dental implant surgery two weeks ago. She had been having an infection from it but it cleared up. Please pray that the bone continues to grow and the infection does not return.

Lynda Stewart’s sister, Carol Bohls, is having continued complications from surgery she had 2 weeks ago. She lives in Austin and is the hospital there.

Kate Tucker’s mom, Jenny Major, will have eye surgery, Tues., Nov. 16th.

Kent Wood, Steve’s brother, has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Iva Allen is now living at Lakewood Quarters Nursing Home and would really love visits.

Joyce is having orthoscopic surgery on both knees at the Bone & Joint Clinic on Nov. 12th.

Tammy Hunt, a friend of Lavern Webb's, is having health problems.
