Nearly 100 years later, God birthed Luke 10:27 out of the Methodist church with a specific calling to live into the very reason the city of Denham
In the early 1900s these springs were bought by the Methodist Camp Meeting Association. Believing in the healing power of God, the Methodists erected a tabernacle, held revivals, and experienced the holy presence of God.
Nearly 100 years later, God birthed Luke 10:27 out of the Methodist church with a specific calling to live into the very reason the city of Denham Springs was founded … to bring healing to a hurting world. And, there’s no better way to answer that call than through … LOVE.
Together we can experience God’s healing power as we love the Lord our God with all our heart, our mind, our soul and our strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves.

Denham Springs, founded in the mid 1800s, was known throughout the country for its healing waters. Physicians frequently advised their patients to visit the springs and experience their rejuvenating power.In the early 1900s these springs were bought by the Methodist Camp Meeting Association.
