July 1, 2010 - The Kearney Companies, Inc agrees to lease a 66,000 square foot cross dock warehouse facility from the Port of New Orleans located at the Ports France Road Terminal (Berth 1). The facility is rail served by the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad (NOPB) with access to 6 class one railroads (BNSF, CN, CSX, KCS, NS, UP).

The Kearney Companies, Inc (KCO) established Third Party Logistics (3PL) services in the Port of New Orleans, LA in 1996. Our companys 3PL services are supported by four generations of warehousing and 3PL experience. Today, we operate over 700,000 square feet of rail-served warehouse capacity and over 45 acres of yard capacity in the New Orleans area, making The Kearney Companies one of the largest 3PLs in the Gulf South.

Our services include commodity warehousing, import deconsolidation, rail transloading, international freight forwarding, and import customs house brokerage services.
