Animal Health Clinic recently received its fifth accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). From anesthesia methods and contagious disease protocols to dentistry and urgent care, AAHA accreditation represents an elite group of veterinary practitioners.
Since 1983, Animal Health Clinic has voluntarily achieved the high standards of the American Animal Hospital Association, qualifying it as an AAHA Hospital Member. Animal Health Clinic was re-accredited in May of 2008 for another three years. The standards set by AAHA achieved by Animal Health Clinic pertain to facilities, equipment, practice methods, and management. The purpose of the American Animal Hospital Association is to enhance the abilities of the veterinarian to provide quality medical care and ensure standards of excellence in examination facilities, surgery, medical records, diagnostic services, dentistry, anesthesia, continuing education, and much more. When your pet receives care from Animal Health Clinic, you are assured that it is receiving the very best.
At Animal Health Clinic, we know when you place your pet in our hands, you trust us to provide the best possible care. That's why we recommend pre-anesthetic testing prior to placing your pet under anesthesia, which reduces the chances of complications. In doing this, we'll obtain a complete history and perform a detailed physical exam of your pet. A healthy result, while not a guarantee, does provide added peace of mind that anesthetic risk is minimized. In short, pre-anesthetic testing helps us better care for that important part of the family...YOUR PET!
Our full-service veterinary hospital provides expertise in each of the following areas:
