Guzman's Machine Works is conveniently located in St. James Parish about thirty minutes from New Orleans or Baton Rouge. We have been serving the petrochemical, heavy equipment, raw sugar, and stevedoring industry throughout Southeast Louisiana for more than thirty years. We are very proud of the service we have provided to our customers over the years and only look to better ourselves in the future!
Guzman's Machine Works personnel are experienced machinists, millwrights and welders, trained to meet the many needs of the industrial field. The office staff provides engineering services for the many aspects of the industrial world.
Guzman's Machine Works provides general machining and fabrication to many diversified customers. We perform portable line boring to heavy equipment dealers, offshore supply boat manufacturers, and several large stevedoring companies. Our staff has worked with parish governments on renovating pumping stations containing various types of pumps including three large 72" drainage pumps. We supply millwrights to plants to install and align pumps in the field. GMW also rebuilds pumps and gearboxes and manufactures all parts necessary to accurately complete these jobs. GMW has Dynamic Waterjet, CNC lathe and CNC mill capabilities as well as most manual machines found in today's modern machine shops. Guzman's Machine Works operates in a 25,000 square foot shop with 32,000 square feet fenced in for storage and fabrication work.
