Dr. Henry J. Fitch has practiced in the Metairie/Kenner area since 1974. Dr. Fitch has a general practice with emphasis on prevention and wellness care. He graduated from Palmer College where he was trained in all aspects of anatomy, physiology, radiology and chiropractic technique. He has extensive post graduate training in orthopedics, nutrition and radiology.
Dr. Fitch utilizes many treatment modalities to achieve optimum results for his patients. In addition to traditional chiropractic techniques, Dr. Fitch offers non-force adjusting techniques and instrument adjusting. Dr. Fitch is proud to provide spinal decompression therapy for the treatment of herniated and degenerative discs that cause back, hip and leg pain as well as neck, arm and shoulder pain. Postural analysis, gait training and rehabilitative exercises are included in Dr. Fitch’s comprehensive approach to health care. Nutrition counseling and orthotics for postural correction are also offered.
Dr. Fitch believes in treating the whole person--structurally, chemically (nutritionally) and emotionally. He is proud to be the only practitioner in this area trained in and offering the Neurological Integration System of treatment which utilizes the brain to correct physical and emotional conditions.
