Little River Bluffs - A Nature Preserve & Retreat, L.L.C.
Located on a cool, artesian-fed river in 50 acres of woods, Little River Bluffs offers the peace and beauty of nature with four secluded accommodations from which to choose. The Lodge House offers wonderful view of the river with spacious decking and balconies. There are many amenities for entertaining. The River Chalet, with floor-to-ceiling views of the river and woods, and treetop sleeping in a spacious cedar loft. The Meadow Cabin is located near a stocked pond and wildflower meadow - a favorite sunning and stargazing spot. The Tree House provides a fireplace and view of the river from a swing on the large screened porch. Kayak or inner-tube down the river, or hike along shady nature trails in a wildlife habitat. Restaurants and entertainment are available locally.

Aside from peace and privacy in the country at the end of half a mile of paved road - and aside from a few nice surprises we save for your own discovery - you will find that all of our accommodations are private from each other, and all have access to the little river, the pond and nature trails.

All have complete kitchens stocked with country biscuits, lean Canadian bacon, juices, coffee, tea, and basic seasonings. You don't have to bring bottled water, as our deep well water at each cabin is delicious. We try to keep a fresh pitcher in 'fridge for you.
They have screened porches, swings, hammocks, full-sized refrigerators, stoves and microwave ovens, bar-b-que grills, air conditioning, ceiling fans, fire places, washers and dryers, sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and soaps.
Country towns and villages, restaurants, Global Wildlife Center, St. Joseph Seminary and Abbey, and entertainment are located within 10 miles. An hour or so to New Orleans, Baton Rouge or Mississippi Gulf Coast. Some of our regulars come every year and stay a week or two. Rates are reduced for longer stays and for groups of 12 or more renting all 3 facilities.
